Local football news

Scotland's young team failed to make it into the playoffs for the European Championships. All they needed was a draw. Sad. However, the Rangers beat Iceland 2-1. Booyah.

Is this something I need to care about now.

Just some semantics but they'll keep the boys buying beer for you:

Scotland's YOUTH team (not young).

Ranger's is only the national team to Ranger's fans - you mention that anywhere near the Celtic's fans an you will be in trouble...

OK Iread the entire two sentences of your post and I have no idea what the Scottish national team calls themselves so you might be right there. Sorry.

Correction made with regards to the Rangers. Crisis averted. However, "young" was the only term used in the first article. I was just mimicking the articles semantics. :P
Still, my guess is that 80% of what I say about football will be wrong, at least for the time being. I'll try to keep my trap shut except for this blog. Here I plan on being loud and obnoxious.

Can someone please start a baseball league in the UK so I can start sounding smart about sports again?
