Eating Out Less/ Cooking In More

I've always done loved cooking, so I usually eat in and go out maybe for one meal every other week and it seems others are learning to do the same. Still even I have been trying to have less meat and stretch out the meat I do buy a bit more, not exactly because of the economic crisis, but mostly because prices in the UK are nearly double that of the US. The money I save goes to buying the occasional package of smoked salmon or imported salsa. Mmmmm, Pace Picante.
